Accuro Cool Connections

 

This scheme is a youth project that provides leisure and social opportunities for young people, between the ages of 11 and 19, who live in Harlow and have been diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum.  We aim to provide a warm and supportive atmosphere where staff and volunteers will encourage and assist our members to socialise and participate in activities at our club and within the community.

 

The project offers a weekly youth club which is held from 7 – 9pm on a Monday evening at the Xperience Centre, Broadley Road, Harlow, CM19 5RD.  We also provide a 1:1 befriending service for young people on the autistic spectrum.  The scheme provides a wide range of activities which are chosen by the young people involved, to reflect their individual interests. Regular trips and outings are arranged including an annual holiday (funding permitting).

 

Cool Connections runs during term time and the half term holidays.  Additional activities are offered during school holidays.
