Action for Family Carers provide support for carers in their caring role of any age: from young carers (8-16), young adult carers 16-24 and adults 24+.

They provide practical and emotional support and advice, information on financial and legal matters, training for carers, how to access respite services.

Any carer can access the service and it is free to all Essex residents. We can also help carers when the person they care for has a terminal diagnosis or when they are in hospital.

After an initial contact over the phone we will arrange to meet the carer. Homevisits are available across Harlow, Epping Forest and Uttlesford.
